The people

The people you'll actually talk to.

Bespoke software is a relationship, not a licence key. There is no sales layer and no support queue at Suma. The four people below scope every engagement, write the code, keep the books correct, and answer when something needs a human. On purpose. And behind them stands a partner accounting firm with more than four decades in practice.

How we work
01

Builders answer the phone

The person who scopes your build is the person who writes it, and the person you call when you want it changed. Nothing is lost in handover, because there isn't one.

02

Small on purpose

Four people, short lines, decisions in days. A bespoke build doesn't need a big vendor; it needs a small team that treats your business as the spec.

03

Accountable past delivery

Your software has named owners who keep running it after it ships: the same names on this page. That accountability is the product as much as the code is.

Our partner firm

ReviewSign-offStatutory filing

Suma is partnered with W. M. Sum & Co. Certified Public Accountants, an established Hong Kong firm with more than 40 years in the industry. Every set of accounts our software produces is reviewed and filed under their licence: the same professional sign-off a traditional practice gives, behind software that does the heavy lifting.

Young company, old discipline: the standards your filings are held to have been in practice longer than most of our clients' businesses have existed.

How an engagement runs

Four steps, each with a name on it.

  1. 01

    Scope

We sit with how the business actually runs, from the bank accounts and invoices to the awkward Tuesday routine, and write it down as the spec.

  2. 02

    Build

Weeks, not quarters. Every engagement has a live tracking page: milestones, decisions and what's next, written in plain language.

  3. 03

    Run

Your books go live on the workbench and we watch the first closes with you. The handover is finished when the month locks cleanly, not when the invoice sends.

  4. 04

    Own

You keep a direct line to the people who built it. When the business changes shape, the software changes with it.
