What it handles
- Appointments: each visit in the diary is counted in the books once it is delivered, so the diary and the accounts agree.
- Treatment packages: prepaid packages of visits are tracked per patient, so you always know how many visits are used and how many are still owed.
- Insurer receipts: receipts in your clinic's own format with the details insurers ask for, and a monthly invoice for insurers who pay you directly.
- Payments: cash, FPS, PayMe, card and Stripe payments are matched to the right visits, set up for the ways your clinic takes money.
- Bank feed: your business account is reconciled automatically.
- Income per practitioner: what each chiropractor brought in, worked out from the same visits the books are built from.
- Reports: monthly income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, ready for your accountant.
Hong Kong rules your books need to cover
- Prepaid packages are income only as visits are delivered. Suma records unused visits as owed to the patient until they are used.
- Business records must be kept for at least 7 years for the Inland Revenue Department.
- Staff chiropractors bring MPF and employer's return duties (IR56B, IR56E), and payments to freelance chiropractors may need an IR56M. Suma keeps the records your accountant needs.
How it starts

FAQ
We already use a booking system. Do we have to switch?
No. We can start from your existing calendar and records and connect what you keep.
Some patients claim from their insurer and some insurers pay us directly. Can it handle both?
Yes. Patients get receipts with the details insurers ask for, and insurers who pay you directly get a monthly invoice showing what each one still owes.
We have several chiropractors. Can we see income per practitioner?
Yes. Income is shown per practitioner, from the same visits the books are built from.
Is patient information safe?
Records are encrypted at rest, and names are removed before text is sent to an AI model.
