Disclosure: Suma makes one of the options on this list.
How we chose
We set the method before we wrote an entry, and we apply it to Suma the same way as everyone else.
- Criteria. Fit for a Hong Kong SME; what kind of tool it is (a ledger, a business account or a practice-management tool); whether a price is published; and Hong Kong specific support such as HKD pricing or local banks, stated only where the vendor's own page says so.
- Where the facts come from. Each vendor's own public pages, opened and checked on 16 October 2026. One source per vendor, linked in the entry and in the Sources list. Where a price is not public we say so; we never estimate a price and never convert a currency.
- How the list is ordered. Grouped by type, from general ledger software to specialised tools, and alphabetical within each group. There is no numeric rank: no option is placed above another.
