What Hong Kong law asks, either way

  • Section 51C of the Inland Revenue Ordinance requires every person carrying on a business in Hong Kong to keep sufficient records, in English or Chinese, of income and expenditure, and to retain them for not less than 7 years. That applies whichever software keeps them.[3]
